Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for a Voluntary Safety Reporting Program (VSRP) Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Solution. Please see Attachment A for detailed instructions. The purpose of this RFI is to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources.

Responses to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only to support the development of a strategy for the FAA’s contemplated VSRP COTS Solution acquisition and will not be released. THIS IS NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SIR/Request for Proposal may be made under a separate announcement in the future. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing vendor responses to this RFI.

Therefore, any cost associated with a RFI submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. Since this is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposal, no results will be issued to the responding firms. The FAA may request that one, some, all, or none of the responders to the RFI provide additional information. No evaluation of vendors will occur based on this additional information, and vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise for future business with the FAA.

Responses to this RFI must be submitted by email no later than 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time on February 15, 2024. Responses are limited to 15 pages and must be in writing, on company letterhead, and must include respondent point of contact information including name, telephone number, e-mail address, and mailing address. Any proprietary information submitted must be properly identified. Information from vendor submissions may be used in future acquisition activities on a non-vendor specific basis.
