Request for Information: Air Transportation Services – Long Beach & Catalina Island, California

In accordance with the Postal Service's Supplying Principles and Practices, the United States Postal Service (USPS or Postal Service) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential air transportation suppliers that are interested in and capable of providing air transportation and ancillary services, to include line-haul, ground handling, and terminal handling services, in support of mail delivery between Long Beach Airport (LGB), California, and Avalon Bay Airport (AVX), California.

The anticipated start date for this service is September 2024. See attached RFI for additional information. The Postal Service does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to pay for the information solicited. This solicitation is issued for the purposes of gathering information around potential suppliers' ability to provide air transportation and related services between Long Beach, CA and Avalon Bay, Catalina Island, off the coast of California.
