The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a contractor to provide training services to HUD staff in Headquarters and the field in reviewing loan applications that are being financed with tax credits in accordance with Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide Chapter 14 and other related chapters.

The instructor-guided online training will provide participants with the necessary knowledge tailored to processing and underwriting Federal Housing Administration (FHA) multifamily mortgages under section 221(d)(4) new construction and substantial rehabilitation program that are financed with tax credit proceeds.
