Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. USDA Forest Service, Special Project Operations Center-East, intends to award a sole source award to Rocky Mountain Aluminum Sign & Supply LLC (incumbent) for the procurement of river identification signs as part of the Wild & Scenic River Program.

This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Acquisition Regulation 8.405-6(a)(a)(i)(C) - In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order. Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by September 10, 2024, at 1:00PM (EST). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
