Ludlum Measurements Radiological Detection Systems (RDS)

Amendment 1. Contractor information amended to read: Ludlum Measurements, Inc. (SAM UEI MYA6K3V3JHX8 / CAGE 23609), 501 Oak Street, P.O. Box 810, Sweetwater, TX 79556-3209. The 502d Contracting Squadron (CONS), 395 B Street W, Bldg. 224, Ste.2, Randolph AFB, TX. 78150 intends to award a single source firm-fixed priced purchase order to Ludlum Measurements, Inc. (SAM UEI MBEANNFKXEK5 / CAGE 1JSH7), 6800 W 117th Avenue, Broomfield, Colorado 80020-2954.

The proposed contract action is for two (2) each Ludlum Measurements Radiological Detection Systems (RDS), model no. AN/PDR-83. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334519 – Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.

This is NOT a solicitation for quotes nor an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within nine (9) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convicting evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
