USAF/TPS Qualitative Evaluation Rockwell Saberliner Aircraft Services

BACKGROUND The Test Pilot School is where the Air Force's top pilots, navigators, and engineers learn how to conduct flight tests and generate the data needed to carry out test missions. Human lives and millions of dollars depend upon how carefully a test mission is planned and flown.

The comprehensive curriculum of Test Pilot School is fundamental to the success of flight test and evaluation. This contract will support The Qualitative Evaluation (QE) program that introduces students to a wide variety of aircraft exhibiting unique flying characteristics or mission systems and is currently used to broaden the students’ range of experience with unfamiliar aircraft. The Rockwell Sabreliner, as a medium sized business jet, can be a suitable training platform to enhance the TPS flight curriculum.

The aircraft must be able to pass an Air Force Test Center (AFTC) approved Subject Matter Expert inspection. III. SPECIFIC INFORMATION OF INTEREST The Test Pilot School (TPS) is interested in someone who can supply a Rockwell Saberliner aircraft, along with a qualified Saberliner flight instructor(s), for Qualitative Evaluation (QE) flights as described in the Qualitative Evaluation Board (QRB) report at the US Air Force (USAF) Test Pilot School (TPS).

The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
