Accusoft PrizmDoc Software (HTML 5)- Intent to Sole Source

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. FURTHER, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Office of Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has a requirement for PrizmDoc HTML 5 document viewing technology supported by a collection of RESTful Web Services, which provide interoperability between computers systems on the internet. In order to satisfy this requirement, the NTSB intends to issue a sole source solicitation to AccuSoft Corporation for annual subscription, and support for AccuSoft PrizmDoc Software.

The Period of Performance is to include one (1) twelve-month base period and three (3) twelve-month option periods. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) – Soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code for this procurement is 513210. AccuSoft Corporation is the sole authorized developer and service provider for PrizmDoc and associated software and software maintenance.

One of the unique capabilities that is required by the NTSB OCIO is PrizmDoc Viewer can be supported on virtually any platform, and in any programming language. PrizmDoc has, improved user experience and enhanced security. PrizmDoc supports customization to limit the functionality based on the user’s job type keeping users from being able to print or download the subject file. Other features include OCR, Redaction and Ultra-Fast Document Conversion Document Conversion.

Other products researched did not offer a zero footprint and installation document viewer with API calls-based functionality. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
