The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary requires semi-annual building automation system preventative maintenance services at one of the Embassy’s residences in Budapest, Hungary. The objective of the scheduled preventive maintenance is to eliminate system malfunction, breakdown and deterioration.

The BAS PM work required shall include, but is not limited to, preventive maintenance, investigation & troubleshooting, adjustments, trend & alarm configuration, etc. The contract will be for a period of one year, with a maximum of four one-year optional periods of performance, and will be expected to commence not later than January, 2026. All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service.

At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal: Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in HUNGARY; Have all licenses and permits required by local HUNGARIAN law; Be able to understand written and spoken English; Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the work, including trained, qualified, and licensed technicians to inspect, adjust, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance The Contractor shall employ a competent On-Site Supervisor, satisfactory to the Government, to work at all times with the authority to act for the Contractor.

The Contractor shall utilize competent BAS engineers, technicians, programmers, etc. satisfactory to the Government to perform the work and services required by the contract. BAS Engineers, technicians, programmers, etc. shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing the type of work described within the Statement of Work.

The personnel engaged in providing PM Services for the DOS shall be trained and certified by the BAS Manufacturer on the Manufacturer’s Product Line(s) being serviced by that employee. Certifications shall be current and maintained throughout the life of the contract.

Biographical data (a resume), a list of recently completed projects demonstrating five (5) years of BAS experience and proof of training and certification from the BAS hardware and software manufacturer shall be submitted for personnel providing BAS PM Services under this statement of work. The manufacturer shall certify that installer has been trained on the proper installation of the manufacturer’s BAS and is an approved installer.
