MSG Cook Services in Budapest

The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary requires food services work including furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, for the embassy's U.S. Marine Security Guards. The period of performance is 1 base year and 4 optional years and is expected to commence in July 2025. The contractor shall schedule cooking and serving requirements to ensure that these are done in the order and time frame specified and they are to be performed on a daily basis, Monday-Friday.

Work day starts at 7:00 – 1 pm am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays. Work day starts at 7:00 – 3 pm on Thursday. All services are to be delivered 259 days of the year for seven of U.S. Marine security personnel, providing 6 meals (2 breakfast options, 2 lunch options, and 2 dinner options). Individual work schedules shall not exceed 40 hours per week to preclude overtime being part of the services provided under the contract.

All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service.

At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal: have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Hungary, have all licenses and permits required by local, Hungarian law, be able to understand written and spoken English, have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the work, including trained and qualified employees for providing cooking services, have suitable references of past performances on similar contracts.
