Re-conditioning of front yard fence

The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain services to replace a fence system for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at Vogelsang 12, 14195 Berlin. The prices listed below shall include all labor, materials, insurance (see FAR 52.228-4 and 52.228-5), overhead, and profit. The Government will pay the Contractor the fixed price for services that have been satisfactorily performed. The current fencing ensemble facing Vogelsang street shall be replaced.

The entire property including frontage fencing is under protection by the Amt fuer Denkmalschutz. The new build wall / fence has to be an exact copy of the old ensemble in case of measurements,brick layout and color. The same requirements apply for the metal work. The bidder is contracting the metal work part for best timing reasons. Permission from Amt fuer Denkmalschutz has to be granted upfront thru the contracting authority. The house will be occupied during the time of construction.

The temporary fence has to be closed entirely, the segments are connected with bolted clamps. Vehicle access on the property has to be granted at all time. Prior the offer,the bidder has to get the picture about the local circumstances. The work is planned to start in 2nd+3rd quarter 2024.
