Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Colombia will launch the solicitation on beta.SAM website when it is available. The requirement is for providing A 150KVA GENERATOR, enclosure, transfer switch and installation services in EBO Cartagena. The contractor shall supply the 150 KVA generator with enclosure and installation services that includes civil, mechanic and electrical work.

All contractor personnel must be capable of obtaining a security clearance by the Regional Security Office (RSO) of the U.S. Embassy prior to gaining access to the compound to perform tasks under the contract. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a site visit and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective contractors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.
