Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Sole Source contract for Water Treatment Maintenance Services. The project will include Preventive Maintenance Services on Chillers and Pumps. The estimated period of performance is 48 months. This contract will be under NAICS code 238220 to Johnson Controls BAS, LLC. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, FAR 13.106(b) in accordance with 41 U.S.C.

1901 -Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). For this requirement, Aslan Technologies Inc. is considered the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This service will be provided in Accra.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
