HQAMC Armed Security Guard Services

For Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (HQAMC), armed security guard services providing access control for employees and visitors, security systems monitoring-alarms and closed circuit interior and exterior cameras, personnel and package screening using x-ray machine and magnetometer technology, and response force capability to security incidents such as active shooter, unauthorized entry, or insider threat incidents.

Performance is based on implementing and sustaining Security Guard Orders and conducting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Security Operations for the HQAMC facility complex. Contract Security Guard services are used at tenants on Redstone Arsenal such as Missile Defense Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. HQDA Office of the Provost Marshal policy is that within CONUS all “mission” directed security must be performed by contract security guards. Phase in Period: 15 June 2024 - 14 July 2024 Base Year: 15 June 2024 - 14 June 2025 Option Year 1: 15 June 2025 - 14 June 2026 Option Year 2: 15 June 2026 - 14 June 2027 Option Year 3: 15 June 2027 - 14 June 2028 Option Year 4: 15 June 2027 - 15 June 2028 The anticipated contract is a Firm Fixed Price C-type contract.

NOTES TO OFFERORS:

1. This requirement is Subject to Availability of Funds, in accordance with AFARS 5132.702.

2. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with preparing or submitting a proposal.

3. Offers/Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in Section L of this solicitation no later than 7 June 2024 at 11:00 am Central Standard Time (CST).

4. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor the sam.gov website for additional/official information pertaining to this requirement.
