Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Greg Rankin

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals.

The USPFO for Alaska Contracting Office intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Greg Rankin, CAGE 3JHV6, located at 16305 E Huntley Rd, Palmer, AK 99645-8718 to provide portable toilets and servicing of the portable toilets for the Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG) in support of the Innovative Readiness Training in the Cordova, Alaska area from 01 June 2024 to 15 September 2024. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with intent to execute a Sole Source Purchase Order under FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Part 13.106-1(b), Only One Source Reasonably Available.

This notice satisfies the posting requirements at FAR Part 5.101. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 562991. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored.

However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who have used these products and services in the Cordova, AK area, to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.

Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist, Joshua A. Centilli, joshua.a.centilli.civ@army.mil and Contracting Officer, Daniel R. Tatro, daniel.r.tatro.civ@army.mil. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the USPFO for Alaska Contracting Office will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Greg Rankin.
