Intent to Sole Source-Viken Detection Training

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE-SOURCE AWARD TO UNITED STATES DISCIPLINARY BARRACKS (USDB) DIRECTORATE OF OPERATIONS (DOPS) FOR TRAINING ON THE VIKEN DETECTION FOXHOUND AND HANDHELD X-RAY MACHINE. Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Leavenworth, KS intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price award for training services to Viken Detection Corporation, 21 North Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803-3305.

The United States Disciplinary Barracks Directorate of Operations (DOPS) under the Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) require on-site training for the Viken Detection Foxhound and Handheld X-Ray Machine. This is a non-personal services contract to provide the United States Disciplinary Barracks (USDB) Directorate of Operations (DOPS) training on the Viken Detection Foxhound and Handheld X-Ray Machine.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the services defined in this PWS except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) under the authority of 41 U.S.C.

1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 561210 – Facilities Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $47 Million. The PSC code is U009-Education/Training General. These are commercial services with a dollar value under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
