Notice of Intent to Sole Source IRON MIKE CONFERENCE CENTER (BPA)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions.

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Liberty (MICC – FL) on behalf of Womack Army Medical Center intends to enter into a sole source Firm Fixed contract with Iron Mike Conference Center under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). No other venues are approved or have ability to provide the needed service on Fort Liberty.

US Department of Army is a large business concern under the applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code 591920 (Convention and Tradeshow Organizers) with a size standard of $20,000,000.00. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. Womack Army Medical Center requires the Iron Mike Conference Center space for meetings, awards, graduations, and training events that are scheduled or arise on short notice.

It is the intent of the Womack Army Medical Center to award a Bulk Purchase Agreement Contract for a performance period of 36 months. The anticipated period of performance 01 March 2024 until 28 February 2027. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation will not be issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

The information submitted must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor’s ability to fulfill this requirement. The contractor must also provide a description of their past experience in fulfilling requirements which are the same or similar to this requirement and references for each. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses to this requirement may be submitted to Ivonna Richardson at ivonna.l.richardson.civ@army.mil. The solicitation number shall be included in the subject line of the e-mail submission. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM CST 8 February 2024.
