1. This contract is for the Torch from Biomerieux/BioFire Co. for the Department of Pathology (DPALS) Microbiology Section at William Beaumont Army Medical Center for multiplex viral/bactieral testing for FT Bliss/El Paso area. This contract is for the lease of one (1) Torch FilmArray analyzer and the reagents/consumables needed to perform the Respiratory Pathogen Panel, Gastrointestinal Panel, Blood Culture Identification Panel, and Meningitis Encephalitis Panel for FY25.

2. The biomerieux/BioFire Co. must support the following requirements in this contract: a. Support the required number of kits for the FY 25 assays along with all consumables required to run these tests for the Torch FilmArray analyzer: i. Respiratory Pathogen Panel 2.1 (423742): 660 tests (22 kits, 30 tests per kit) ii.

Pneumonia Pathogen Panel (RFIT-ASY-0144): 450 (15 kits, 30 tests per kit) iii.

Gastrointestinal Panel (RFIT-ASY-0116): 660 tests (22 kits, 30 tests per kit) iv.

Blood Culture Identification Panel: 300 tests (10 kits, 30 tests per kit) v. Meningitis Encephalitis Panel: 120 test (4 kits, 30 tests per kit) b. Annual maintenance and replacement of the Torch FilmArray analyzer as necessary. c. Software update and support for the Torch FilmArray analyzer as needed. d. Trouble shooting, maintenance support, and technical support for all module units on the Torch analyzer.

3. All the services involving maintenance/support covered in this statement of work will be performed by a certified/authorized technician from Biomerieux/BioFire Co. No third-party distributors or technicians are to supply/support Biomerieux/BioFire’ s equipment and assays.

4. Interested offerors shall also provide recommendation for contract structure, specifically, separate contract line item numbers (CLINs) for the leased equipment and consumables, or, the price of the leased equipment burdened into the consumables, or, two separate, accompanying contracts, one for lease of the equipment and one for the consumables.

5. The above listed information is for equipment and consumables currently under contract W81K0019C0006, which expires 30 September 2024. Any offered equipment and consumables shall meet or exceed the specifications of those items listed above.
