Notice to Intention to Sole Source

By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Chicago District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces its intention to award a sole source contract to Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI), located at 35 Wiggins Ave Bedford, MA 01730.The Chicago District intends to establish a firm-fixed price supply contract for between USACE and Diversified Technologies, Inc for the replacement parts for Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Barrier I. Under the proposed contract, DTI will be required to provide the list of items attached to the is notice.The proposed vendor has been the only known provider of the aforementioned items for several years, wherein providing the required assemblies.

Given that DTI has the sole means to acquire the required spare partes, this acquisition is available from one source, the proposed vendor.This notice does not constitute a solicitation for offers, proposals, etc. However, interested firms may send capabilities statement NO LATER THAN 4:30p.m. (CDT) on July 10, 2025.
