The Government requires one (1) Liebherr L 509 Stereo Wheel Loader or Equal, fully assembled and ready for operation, capable of material handling, snow removal, sweeping, and road maintenance operations.

The loader shall, at a minimum:

  • Be Stage V/Tier 4 Final emissions compliant.
  • Include an enclosed cab with heating and air conditioning.
  • Include a hydraulic quick coupler and auxiliary hydraulic circuits compatible with powered attachments.
  • Include road lighting, warning beacon, mirrors, ride control, and towing hitch.
  • Be compatible with the following attachments (or equivalent):
    • Pallet forks
    • General-purpose bucket with cutting edge
    • Hydraulic sweeper with collection hopper
    • Hydraulic salt spreader (approximately 350 L capacity)
    • Hydraulic snow plow (approximately 4 m working width)

Offerors proposing an equal product shall demonstrate that the equipment meets or exceeds these salient characteristics and is fully compatible with all proposed attachments.
