Provide inspection and cleaning of vent hood exhaust and inspection of fire suppression systems located in kitchens on Fort Johnson, LA. Grease vapors and foreign matter produced by cooking equipment accumulate on the interior surfaces of kitchen vent hood exhaust systems. Regular scheduled cleaning of these systems is required to reduce the possibility of fire in the systems. Regular scheduled inspection of the fire suppression system is required to limit the damage caused by a fire.
Fire suppression system inspections include, but is not limited to, checking all remote manual pull stations, mechanical or electrical devices, detectors, and actuators for proper operation. This requirement will comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 17A and NFPA Standard 96. Inspectors must be Louisiana State Certified.
