Notice of Intent - Fischer Connectors Cable Assembly

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to award a sole source contract to Fischer Connectors, 1735 Founders Pkwy- Ste. 100, Alpharetta, GA 30009. This requirement is a supply contract to provide 2,000 pieces of cable assembly, part number 139812: 1F3T4 under NAICS code 334419 (Other Electronic Component Manufacturing) and PSC 5995 (Cable, Cord, and Wire Assemblies: Communication Equipment).

The Government intends to acquire these supplies under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. However, if any interested party can provide the cable assembly part number, you may submit a statement of capabilities that may be considered by Tobyhanna Army Depot.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be via email only and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can meet the requirements.

Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. All data received in response to this notice marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release from the Government. Capability statements and related materials must be e-mailed to Jessica McHugh at jessica.l.mchugh.civ@army.mil by 12:00 PM EST on 20 June 2025 referencing the synopsis number PAN016239 in the subject line of the e-mail.
