This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of Market Research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a Request for Proposals (RFP). DLA Troop Support is NOT requesting a quote or proposal in response to this notice. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose.

The Government does not intend to pay for information furnished pursuant to this Request for Information (RFI). The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify other parties that have an interest in and have the resources to support the acquisition of the below items requirements.

INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS: DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. These items are wood pallets, and they are used on our DLA Distribution Centers. All requirements will be for Continental United States (CONUS) deliveries. The acquisition is anticipated to be FOB Destination – Inspection & Acceptance at Destination.

The National Stock Numbers (NSN’s):

3990-00-935-7960: P/N MH1/9-02SW4048;

3990-00-599-5326: P/N MH1/9-03SW4048;

3990-01-041-8803: P/N MH1/9-05SW4048;

3990-00-141-7261: P/N MH1/9-10BW4048, are fully competitive items and shall be manufactured in accordance with the standard/specifications available from the Approved American National Standard Institute (ANSI) - MH1-2016, Part 9, dated 8 Jan 2016. ANSI MH1-2016 included as an attachment. Further details shall be released in a forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP).

NOTICE: Please complete and return the attached Market Research Survey. ANSI MH1-2016 has also be included as an attachment. Any interested party needs to identify their capability to provide the aforementioned NSNs, and should respond to this announcement, via email to Teresa Rivera-Cruz, teresa.rivera@dla.mil no later than Friday, July 5, 2024 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
