Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The required Oxford Gold Package includes:

- One (1) scheduled annual preventative maintenance visit - Unlimited priority on-site emergency repair visits - Direct factory technical telephone/remote diagnostic support - All replacement parts, components, and labor certified by OEM specifications - Full access to proprietary firmware upgrades and analytical software updates SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION: This acquisition is conducted under FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) / FAR 13.106-1(b) / 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) (Only One Responsible Source).

Oxford Instruments is the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and exclusive developer of the Aztec/mics/xstream/xmax80 analytical system. Oxford Instruments retains all proprietary rights, technical data packages, diagnostic utilities, and firmware required to service this equipment. No authorized third-party vendors exist. Servicing by non-certified personnel would void system integrity, compromise laboratory data accuracy, and impact foreign material exploitation (FME) mission readiness.
