Intent to Sole-Source Work on Award 1305M323CNFFR0040

The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Secsol, Inc. doing business as Security Solutions using the procedures in FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services., to provide investigating and repairing of exterior doors with recurring intermittent operational failures which impacts the facility’s security.

The security software was installed and is currently maintained by Security Solutions on the access control system, CCure. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a). This work will be added to existing award 1305M323CNFFR0040 via contract modification. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561621, with a business size standard of $25M. This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals.

No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities no later than May 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time and shall be considered by the Government.
