Awarded a modification to the Purchase Order to Vocal Technologies LTD to exercise the option year for the software maintenance support for the SIP-based analog modem server (SAMS) software for use with dial up modems

Award Notification: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) awarded a modification to the Purchase Order to Vocal Technologies LTD to exercise the option year for the software maintenance support for the SIP-based analog modem server (SAMS) software for use with dial up modems. As part of ASOS SLEP we are working on dial up line consolidation to a central server. The Vocal SAMS product enables modem emulation services to migrate geographically dispersed locations to one central server and maintain existing ASOS operational software.

Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, Vocal Technologies LTD., Buffalo, NY, the only source/brand that provides this software maintenance support. There is only one authorized source for this requirement, the OEM, Vocal Technologies LTD.
