Notice of Intent - Pro-tainer

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-time, sole-source, fixed-price contract to Protainer Inc., for the purpose of procuring 6) PROMC-CB9, 9yd Mini-Cycler Cardboard containers. Based on Market Research, it has been determined that Pro-tainer, is the only company that can provide the requested items/services.

Market research has determined that other manufacturing and specifications cannot best meet the required specifications needed. This notice will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the SAM.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 332439 Other Metal Container Manufacturing The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of Jonathan Johnson via email at jejohnson3@fbi.gov by Thursday August 29, 2024 (5:00 pm Central). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include the firm’s Unique Entity ID (UEI) number and their Business Size. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
