Notice of Intent - Shoals Electric Company

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-time, sole-source, fixed-price contract to Shoals Electric Company, for the purpose of procuring: The installation of a traffic light for the FBI at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Based on Market Research, it has been determined that Shoals Electric Company, is the only company that can provide the requested items/services for the installations on Redstone Arsenal.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors.

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of Jonathan Johnson via email at jejohnson3@fbi.gov by Monday May 20, 2024 (5:00 pm Eastern). Only timely email responses will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses received in response to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. J&A document available upon request.
