10X Genomics Reagents

The purpose of this requirement is to purchase reagents required to study gene expression in brain tissue. The contractor shall provide NIH the consumable to generate the data for this research project. The contractor shall also provide any necessary documentation and training materials it has developed. Training material may be modified to suit the needs of NIH. The 10X Genomics platform allows performing cutting edge cell or nuclei capturing and barcoding for high throughput RNA-sequencing.

To run an experiment on this platform we require the appropriate consumables to perform this experiment. The reagents used are proprietary and there is no other company than 10X Genomics available to provide the required reagents. Government Scientific Source is the distribution partner for these items. The products are copyrighted and commercial items and only available from 10X Genomics via Government Scientific Source. The consumables are a valuable resource that is critical for NIH staff. No other product on the market offers compatibility with the 10X Genomics Chromium X platform.
