PURCHASE OF A CYTASSIST INSTRUMENT

The National Institutes of Health, NIDCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with FedPoint Systems, LLC located at 13042 BlackBird Place, Fairfax, Virginia 22033 The National Institutes of Health, NIDCD is seeking the purchase of a CytAssist instrument and Visium HD chemistry. 10X Genomics produces Visium HD reagents for spatialtranscriptomics. These are the highest resolution products available on the market.

The NIDCD wishes to invest in the Visium HD reagents (chemistry and slideslto generate spatialtranscriptomic data to be deposited in a public repository (CEARI. The CytAssist instrument is required for applying the chemical reagents to the slides.

This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source who can meet the same requirements listed above may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than August 28, 2024 10am, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Ms Van Holley at holleyv@od.nih.gov . Capability statement must demonstrate and describe how the vendor meets all the requirements listed in this notice. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
