NB646030-24-03056 DESCRIPTION: The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with Air Products s.a/n.v in Belgium for Experis Treated Cylinders. Sole Source justification is based on the following:

The Gas Sensing Metrology Group (GSMG) of NIST’s Chemical Sciences Division (646.03) has been chosen as the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Central Calibration Laboratory (CCL) for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). As CCL, GSMG will supply certified monoterpene standards to the WMO Global Atmospheric Watch (GAW) for VOCs, which is responsible for monitoring atmospheric monoterpenes that are important to air quality and climate change.
