Description
As published on SAM.gov.
N6945024R0029 Amendment 0001: Incorporates additional service requirements into the solicitation. All interested parties must review the recently amended SF 1449 that accompanies this notification as an attachment. The SF 1449 conformed copy provides the Amendment 0001 changes as well as instructions on how to submit a complete/technically acceptable offer. Any party that previously submitted an offeror in response to solicitation N6945024R0029 is required to submit a revised offer reflecting the Amendment 0001 changes to be considered for award.
Functional Service Requirement #1: The Roy M. Wheat Dinning Facility at Naval Air Station Meridian, MS has a roughly 1500-gallon underground grease collection tank that requires routine maintenance. The contractor will be required to clean and treat the grease collection unit, as well as dispose of all contents extracted from the tank. Any debris removed from the tank must be transited off station to a proper disposal site. Maintenance services must be performed exactly one time every 30 calendar days (monthly). Each contract performance period is one year in duration which means a total of 12 service events are expected to occur during each contract year.
Functional Service Requirement #2: The offeror agrees to supply and routinely service two portable 50-gallon grease collection units needed at fire stations 1 and 2 onboard Naval Air Station Meridian, MS (NASMER). The contract line-item price includes costs associated with unit delivery and placement at contract inception and unit retrieval and removal immediately following contract expiration. The offeror must clean and treat the tanks, as well as dispose of all contents extracted from the tanks.
All debris extracted from the tanks must be transported off the installation and discarded at a proper disposal site. The offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision to perform all aspects of supplying, cleaning, and disposal operations of the two units. The offeror must fulfill all requirements expressed within the Performance Work Statement, as well as comply with all contract clauses and provisions stated herein.
Maintenance services must be performed once every 60 days, for a total of six service events each year. The firm-fixed price contract consists of one base year and four option years. The length of the multi-year service contract shall not exceed 60 months. If the Government determines that the contractor performed satisfactorily during the active contract year and the customer conveys a continued need for services, then the Government will exercise the next available option.
The Government will notify the contractor of its intent to exercise the next option at least 30 days prior to contract expiration. The Contracting Officer will issue each option year through a contract modification. Prior to submitting an offer, interested parties must review the conformed solicitation (SF 1449) N6945024R0029 which includes the Amendment 0001 changes, revised instructions to offerors, and NAVFAC PPQ-0 form which accompany this publicized opportunity as attachments.
