NIDA Parts for NIDA Model 130 Sereies Kits

The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to NIDA Corporation for OEM parts compatible with NIDA Model 130 series trainers and associated courseware. NIDA Corporation LLC has been identified as the only source that can provide this requirement for Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training.

NIDA is the only source that has the Proprietary Hardware Interface, Integrated Fault-Logic, Software Synchronization, Warranty, and Active Monitoring for parts for the NIDA Model 130 Series technical training sytems that are manufactured and distributed exclusively by NIDA Corporation LLC. This proposed action is a Firm Fixed Price contract. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) that these items fall under is 334419 Other Electric Component Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 (Number of employees). This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above.

A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within three (3) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a sole-source contract, a sole source contract award will be made. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received by 12:00 p.m. E.S.T, June 05, 2026, the contract will be solicited without further notice.
