RFQ Amendment N6852025Q0007 0001 ammends the SOW, to add paragraph 3.4 "Upon delivery of the GFP to contractor, it is the contractor’s responsibility to move and maneuver the panel however they need, to accomplish blast and paint." The RFQ due date is ammended to 08-Jan-2025.
A copy of the amendment document is attached, that summarizes these changes and a conformed copy of the RFQ is attached that incorporates these changes into a new RFQ document, that should be used in place of document titled "N6852025Q0007 -Sam Released", which was removed. No other changes are made. RFQ Amendment N6852025Q0007 0002 extends due date until 10-Jan-1025. No other changes are made.
Offeror must ackowledge receipt of amendment in accordance with block 11 of the SF 30. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared In Accordance With (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items”, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
Set Aside: None. This will be a full and open competition. NAICS code for this announcement is 325510, and small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
This Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued for the Firm Fixed Priced procurement of materials and labor required for the off-site abrasive blast and painting of twelve (12) Jet-Blast Deflector (JBD) panels with dimensions of (14ft x 6 ft x1ft) and weight (2100 lbs) per panel. located at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island P.O. Box 357058, San Diego, CA 92135-7058.services in accordance with attached SOW included in RFQ.
Pursuant to FAR 12.602 contract award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance withFAR 13.106. Offeror’s submissions will be evaluated on a lowest-price, technically acceptable basis, considering the following factors: Technical and Price.
(1) Technical: The quote must be rated as technically acceptable to be eligible for award. In order to be technically acceptable, the Quote must demonstrate compliance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation, compliance with all salient characteristics identified in the Statement of Work, and the Schedule of Items.. The Quote must provide sufficient detail to demonstrate that the vendor understands the scope of the Government's requirements. Quotes that fail to meet the above will be technically unacceptable and rejected.
(2) Price: Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
Discussions: The Government intends to award a purchase order without discussions with respective vendors/quoters. The Government however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest.
Cost of Quotes: Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor’s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government. Solicitation documentation is export controlled and requires the offeror to be registered via the Defense Logistics Agency’s Joint Certification Program (JCP). Offerors shall submit a DD 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement with their quote.??
