Stone Haven Shelving Project

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Allied Logistics LLC., 100 King Charles Court, Summerville, South Carolina 29485 (Cage Code: 9DYT9) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment Solomons (FRC ASE Solomons) has a requirement to maintain, repair and overhaul Aviation Support Equipment for various agencies. This requirement is for the Pallet-Rack Shelving underneath Building 6403 (Stone Haven).

Previous contract N6852023P0169 was awarded in accordance with the Statement of Work scope to supply and install new Pallet-Rack Shelving of the same manufacturer and same load capacity rating as the existing Pallet-Rack Shelving, meet inbound freight and unload, take down existing Pallet-Rack Shelving, erect new Pallet-Rack Shelving in the same orientation and configuration as the existing Pallet-Rack shelving, and remove all old and damaged material from site.

This contract was awarded on 26 September 2023 with a delivery date of 8 weeks. All deliverables were met and the contract was fully funded. Since then, the grating material on each shelf rack needs repairs to bear weight. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from Allied Logistics LLC (Cage Code: 9DYT9). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
