Real Time X-Ray Repair

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions; 2205 Northmont Pkwy Suite 200 Duluth, GA 30096 (Cage Code: 792M9) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) has a requirement to perform an install, evaluation and training on the Real Time X-ray. The Contractor may also perform a repair if required and approved. The install includes installing the Tube Head and Power supply into the X-ray machine. The evaluation is to inspect the system for function and ensure all systems are operational per OEM specifications. Training is to educate two (2) FRCSW personnel on machine operation.

The repair is to address possible problems found during the install and evaluation. Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that can properly service. The PiXS software used for operation is proprietary to Pinnacle. They do not work with 3rd party vendors. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions (CAGE Code: 792M9). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
