Arbotext Software Renewal

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Immix Technology, Inc., 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 200 McLean, VA 22102 (Cage Code: 3CA29) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Fleet Support Team (FST) has a requirement for Arbortext software subscription licenses that includes ARBORTEXT Editor Version 7.1 (64-bit) Subscription licenses, ARBORTEXT Print Composer, and ARBORTEXT Styler that must be compatible with ARBORTEXT Editor Version 7.1. The Standard Business requirement: to plan for, access, acquire, produce, store, archive, reproduce and distribute, and maintain technical data.

This includes technical manuals and publications; and technical data packages. This kit supports aircraft, weapons, targets, unmanned aerial vehicles, common avionics, training and support systems. To integrate content of technical data elements provided by other competencies; and configuration management as it applies to technical data processes. This application is used for DIRECT FLEET SUPPORT. Immix Technology is the authorized reseller of Arbortext software products through DoD ESI.

Immix Technology, Inc. is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from Immix Technology, Inc. (CAGE Code: 3CA29). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
