Notice of Intent to Sole Source Arena Software License

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Rockwell Automation, Inc. 9500 Arboretum Blvd, STE 400, Austin, TX on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

COMFRC HQ, Arena Software Licenses COMFRC requires a one-0year lease of ten (10) Arena Professional Edition (One Developer seand and 3 Runtime seats) and the on-year lease of twenty (20) Arena Runtime Edition (One Runtime seat). Rockwell Automation is the origial equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Arena Software, and retains all the proprietary /techincal data rights required to supply the necessary software licenses. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
