AN/SPN-43C Shipboard Air Traffic Control Radar System

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc., CAGE: 99789 for the issuance of a C-Type contract. The contract will be for the procurement of AN/SPN-43C Servo Amplifier Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and Bottom Plates, in support of the AN/SPN-43C Navy Shipboard Air Traffic Control Radar System.

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the AN/SPN-43C Servo Amplifier CCAs and Bottom Plates, so is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical experience, and production-level data to manufacture Servo Amplifier CCAs and Bottom Plates. The AN/SPN-43C Servo Amplifier CCAs and Bottom Plates are the only equipment that has been tested, included in AN/SPN-43C configuration baselines and comply with established Program Directives.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
