Uninterruptible Power Supplies and cables

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Iris Technology Corporation (Iris), CAGE: 78535 for the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-price contract. The contract will be for the procurement of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) and cables in support of in support of the Radio Integration System (RIS) Family of Systems (FoS).

Iris Technology Corporation is the only company that manufacturers UPSs and cables that meet the unique combination of requirements for form, fit, function, and performance while maintaining configuration management and interoperability within the RIS FoS and have passed required testing. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
