Ux Validator for MH-60R FMS Programs (Greece Hellenic Navy, Norwegian Defense, and Spanish Armada)

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-l(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Sole Source, Fixed Price contract to Ultrax Aerospace, Inc. (CAGE: 07PR7) for the procurement of the Ux Validator (NSN 4920-01-526-5799, P/N 02-1103-01) for the Spanish Armada (qty 6) and Norwegian Defense (qty 3) and Greece Hellenic Navy (qty 2) MH-60R FMS Programs.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. Ultrax Aerospace, Inc., is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the Ux Validator and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical expertise and data to support the development of this item.

The Government does not have the technical data to obtain this item from an alternate source. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received.

There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
