Pressure Standards

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of quantity two (2) each model number 3461-1-104 Pressure Calibration System (NSN: 6695-01-161-9259) and model number 3689A Precision Pressure Standard (NSN: 4925-01-368-2092) for the Taiwan OICR under FMS Case TW-P-SEG.

King Nutronics Corp (CAGE: 13859) was the selected company to supply the support equipment for the Pressure Calibration System and for the Taiwan OICR under FMS Case TW-P-SEG for Taiwan Air Force (TAF) Calibration and Maintenance of P3C or E2K Portable Oxygen Regulator Test Set (PORTS). This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-24-RFI-0646.

The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
