A/M27T-15 Diesel Hydraulic Power Supply Pumps

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Hydraulics International Inc. (CAGE 1VCN7) in Chatsworth, CA for the procurement of QTY 1 Piston Pump (PN:

4016AS266-1), QTY 1 Main Pump (PN:

040489-218), QTY 1 Boost Pump (PN: 040489-219, and accessory parts manufactured by Hydraulics International, Inc. (CAGE 1VCN7) in support of the A/M27T-15 Diesel Hydraulic Power Supply. The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."

Hydraulics International Inc. is the exclusive data right holder for this proprietary system and only vendor capable of meeting the Government’s requirements. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Responses stating interest must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
