E-2D Advanced Hawkeye (AHE) Aircraft Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE)

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Northrup Grumman Systems Corporation, (CAGE: 70974) of Melbourne, Florida, for the E-2D Peculiar Depot and O-Level Support Equipment in the P/N attachment, required for various Organizational (O) and Depot (D) level maintenance of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye (AHE) Aircraft. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C.

3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
