NAWCAD LKE - Heavy Weight Shock Barge Testing for the Digital Horizon Reference Set (DHRS)

SYNOPSIS LynxOS and Luminosity Software Solicitation #: N68335-24-Q-0881 This synopsis is to inform industry that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation to procure heavy weight shock testing for the Digital Horizon Reference Set (DHRS) Controller (P/N AY-2400-002) and Display (PN AY-2400-003) meeting requirements of MIL-DTL-901E requiring availability to support barge testing in October 2024. The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to NTS Technical Systems LLC doing business as Element U.S. Space & Defense, (Cage 1YEH6), under the authority of 10USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The solicitation, when issued, will be for a firm-fixed price contract. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.

A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors. The government will only accept electronic quotations.
