N66001-24-Q-6285: Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Order to Luxium Solutions, LLC

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed- Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Luxium Solutions, LLC (CAGE: 64506) of 17900 Great Lakes Pkwy, Hiriam, Ohio, 44234-9681. | This requirement is for the following assets meeting the noted specification & capability requirements:

65 Specification & Capability Requirements: (1)23,0mm x 23,0mm x 70,0mm Enhanced LaBr crystal (B390S) R11265U-200 PMT with the suitable selection for use with Enhanced LaBr crystal. (2)PMT with bare output (flying leads) designed for use with a negative high voltage aluminum crystal housing with 0,5mm end-on aluminum entrance window. (3)Mu metal shield around the PMT with ground eyelet (4)No shock, vibration. (5)Operation under normal environment excluding vacuum.

(6)Operating Temperature: 5°C to 50°C - rate: 8°C/hour.

(7)Storage Temperature: -20°C to 50°C - rate: 8°C/hour. (8)Performance must meet: End-on PHR@662keV less or equal than 3,5% - Guaranteed value. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Luxium Solutions LLC, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies.

However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 600 employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of supplies provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
