Dark Fiber Optic Cable Lease

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic (Hanahan, SC 29410) intends to award a sole source contract to South Carolina Net Inc., 1500 Hampton St. Suite 101, Columbia, South Carolina 29201-2936 for the lease of dark fiber optic cable. South Carolina Net is the owner of this product.

The Government anticipates award of a definite delivery/definite quantity, firm-fixed- price commercial contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, estimated at $629,910.00. The period of performance includes a base year, six one-year option periods, and one six month option period with an estimated award in Q3 FY24. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 518210 and the size standard is $40M. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
