THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 813920. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 28 June 2024. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to issue a modification on a sole source basis with Magnum Medical Overseas to provide Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) in support of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type modification to Contract N6264519C0003.
The purpose of the modification is to incorporate two additional options to extend the OCONUS Early Intervention Services(EIS)/Related Services (RS) services through 31 July 2025, if exercised. The awarded contract for the above requirement is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements; however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive quotations from any source. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on response received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
