Sole Source to Persistent Systems, LLC. for Various Quantities of Persistent System's Brand Embedded Electronic Modules For the Rollaway Project. Persistent System's Brand Embedded Electronic Modules The NSWC PCD Rollaway project requires parts and various items as listed in the sole source justification and Attachment#1 to enhance and improve the operating capabilities of the system. The parts being acquired are exclusively made by Persistent Systems.

There are no authorized distributors of these part or other supply items. As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of these parts, Persistent Systems is the only company with the required data rights and in-house resident knowledge to provide the embedded modules with the required capabilities required by the Government. Use of alternative parts would be more costly as it would require additional tools and labor to test and qualify alternatives.

Additionally, use of alternate equipment may introduce new or changing existing parameters that could damage or affect the proper operation of the Rollaway system. Therefore, it is imperative that these embedded modules are acquired from Persistent Systems. *See All Attachments for Complete Requirement Details.
