This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a non-personal services contract to provide removal of sandblast grit.

Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRFB) requires vendor services for the removal of 282 skids (approximately 1.24 million lbs.) of spent garnet sandblast grit. Grit is to be removed from S/71A laydown area (Archerfish) outside of the Waterfront Restricted Area (WRA). See attached SOW for full details of this requirement. This requirement is being competed as a 100% total small business set aside, and the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Service type contract.

This is a non-personnel services contract. The period of performance will be 19 May 2025 – 18 July 2025 Please complete pricing on attached combined synopsis solicitation document and submit required documents by 14 Apr 2025, 9:00 am PST. Questions are due by 1 APR 2025 at 9:00 am PST.
