Notice of Intent to Sole Source - 316SS Tubing

NOTICE OF INTENT Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Contracting Department intends to procure 316 Stainless Steel Tubing for use with Swagelok Orbital Welder for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). This will be solicited on a sole source basis to Swagelok Northwest (US)(CAGE 91R88), 2515 SE Mailwell Dr, Milwaukie, OR 97222-7329, per FAR 6.302.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial services under FAR parts 12 and 13. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-price Supply contract will be awarded. Solicitation N4523A25Q4014 will be posted to the sam.gov website on or about December 19, 2024, with the quotes due on or about January 8, 2025. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by NAVSEA.

This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to https://www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
